Overview
E-Commerce Business Game held at Universidad Villanueva in Madrid during my exchange semester. In a team of seven, we created AirGuard, a dropshipping brand of AirPods cases, and ran it live for three months, donating the full profit to Save the Children Spain.
The project was delivered as a final presentation covering brand, marketing plan, logistics, results and lessons learned.
Key Tasks
- Built the brand identity in house with Adobe Illustrator, from logo to social media assets
- Launched the Shopify store on a custom domain, with integrated shipping management and real-time order tracking
- Planned the social media strategy on Instagram and TikTok: weekly posts and videos, stories, paid ads and a giveaway contest to drive reach
- Managed suppliers and fulfilment, switching from SHEIN to AliExpress after test orders revealed unreliable shipping
Core Insights
31 units sold at a ~40% margin per unit
~530 monthly website visits and 100+ Instagram followers on a €20 advertising budget
€84 profit donated to Save the Children Spain
Top grade in the class 🏅
Lessons learned: the supplier change cost time early on, and planning to sell on two platforms (Shopify and Vinted) proved unnecessary. Focusing on a single sales channel, the Shopify store, and securing a reliable supplier from the start would have accelerated growth.
